This is so true!
EXCUSES ARE SO TRAGIC! If we make excuses not to do the right thing, excuses not to have faith, excuses not to go to church, not to pray, not to honor God by doing or acting right, EXCUSES TO JUSTIFY SIN AND MAKE IT RIGHT… THATS SAD!
ITS SIN TO JUSTIFY SIN! BY DOING THAT WE ACTUALLY SAY THAT GOD IS NOT IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR US TO OBEY HIS COMMANDMENTS!
If we make excuses not to do whats good and right just because the obsticles look to big or impossible to press through or we are scared that God cant or wont provide the neccesary things to do whats right or good then WE ARE ACTUALLY SAYING THAT OUR GOD IS NOT BIG ENOUGH AND ALMIGHTY, AND GOOD ENOUGH TO BE TRUSTWORTHY!
NOW THATS WHAT YOU CALL SIN!
Praise God for His wonderful mercy and grace and that He saved us eventhough we fail sometimes to trust Him, even if we sin, EVEN IF WE MAKE EXCUSES FOR WHATEVER REASONS!
Pastor Josh we as young adults at Grace F PTA are praying for you and the plans of the orphanage and we trust that God will provide a miraculous way through the obsticles, like He always does, and someday we gona look back at this and say:
WOW, WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE HAVE!
Regards.

I have Dr. Macks cds on how to counsel loneliness and self pity. I was wondering if I could somehow get the study notes that go along with them? In Christ Name, Joan Kulper
P.S. Ray and I are praying for you in South Africa, we know that God will do a great work there, because His Word is going forth.

Joan,
The notes on loneliness would be in chapter 6 of Out of The Blues and self-pity is in Down but not Out. You can find both on mackministries.org. There are study notes and discussion questions. Thanks for praying for us. Carol
