I started thinking today about some of the men outside my family whom God has used to change me.
And you know what I realized, many if not most of them were pastors. My life is different because of the work of these pastors.
Then I started thinking about their churches.
In order for those men to have an impact on my life, their churches had to make a sacrifice. In each and every case you have a church…

You know what, when you mentioned in your blog about pastors having an impact on your life, my mind wandered off thinking, again…
As I think of SouthAfrica with its lots of different kinds of traditional churches(and im talking in general), its sad to se how many people goes to church week after week listening to their pastor, not even always preaching Gods Word but their own thoughts and it doesnt even impact their life! If i look at my family, sitting for years in the same church listening to the same pastor and it doesnt even change their life!
if you walk out of a church and the sermon didnt change your life in the way of putting off sin and putting on obedience, making you more fired up, wanting to live for God then something is really wrong!
Something else that makes me sad is that people who goes to church just because of a pastor, and if that specific pastor doesnt preach, then they arent that motivated to go to church…
Its sad if pastors dont even preach Gods truth, the Bible,
but their own thoughts,
Praise God for giving me a church where The Bible is taught and a wonderful pastor and elders and people
in church who impacts my life daily, motivates me to be obedient to God!
, im not saying they are perfect but they truly just want to serve God in everything.
We really need to pray for deceived and misleaded churches and pastors!
